Three Steps to Success––Part Six

Daily Humor

I got caught taking a pee in the swimming pool today.  The lifeguard shouted at me so loud, I nearly fell in.
When you’re sixty, who cares?

Let’s pick up where we left off yesterday.  In the last post, we covered three ways of driving traffic:

  1. Writing content on your blog.
  2. Writing content on other people’s blogs.
  3. Forum discussions.

But there are two other methods, and I want to cover them in this post.

Traffic Driving Method #4––Social Media

Of course, there’s social media. Obviously Facebook is massive, and below shows you the ShareBar in action on Facebook.  If someone clicks share on the Thornhill blog post I showed you in an earlier post, this is how it looks on Facebook.Sharebar Result

Another thing you can do in Social Media is set up Facebook groups.  It takes about three clicks to set up a Facebook group.  You can set up many groups about many subjects, but if you build a following through a Facebook group you then have a chance to sell to these people.  This is actually just one of John Thornhill’s product Facebook groups. It’s a Facebook group for Simple Traffic Solutions.  It sort of promotes the product, and it works very well.

You can also be active in groups as well. And don’t forget to be active in other people’s groups because that’s a great way to generate traffic.  It’s similar to being active in forums.

Traffic Driving Method #5––Joint Ventures

The biggest and best form of traffic generation comes Joint Ventures (JVs), that is, other people promoting your products.  This is why you must have an affiliate program for your product.  If you are the only person promoting your product, how are you going to generate thousands of sales?  If you don’t have an affiliate program you will be the only person promoting your product, because other people won’t promote your product unless they’re going to receive a commission.  You can use ClickBank, JVZoo, or several others, my research shows that ClickBank is probably the best and easiest for recruiting affiliates.

In order to recruit affiliates, though, there are a few things you’re going to have to do.  To cover those things in this post would make it entirely too long, so I’ll cover it all in tomorrow’s post.

Until then…
